鳩山 友紀夫(由紀夫) 先生
1947年東京生まれ。曾祖父・和夫(衆議院議長)、祖父・一郎(首相)、父・威一郎(外務大臣)、弟・邦夫(文部、労働、法務、総務大臣)という政治家一家に育つ。東京大学工学部計数工学科卒業、スタンフォード大学工学部博士課程修了(工学博士)。 東京工業大学経営工学科助手、専修大学経営学部助教授を務める。 1986年、総選挙で、旧北海道 4 区(現 9 区)から出馬、初当選。1993年、自民党を離党、 新党さきがけ結党に参加。細川内閣で官房副長官を務める。1996年、鳩山邦夫らととも に(旧)民主党を結党。菅直人とともに代表に就任。1998年、旧民主党、民政党、新党 友愛、民主改革連合の 4 党により(新)民主党を結党、幹事長代理に就任。1999年、民 主党代表に就任。2005年、民主党幹事長に就任。2009年、民主党代表に就任。第93代内閣総理大臣に就任。2013年3月、一般財団法人東アジア共同体研究所を設立、理事長に就任。
Born in Tokyo in 1947. He grew up in a family of politicians: great-grandfather Kazuo (Chairman of the House of Representatives), grandfather Ichiro (Prime Minister), father Iichiro (Minister of Foreign Affairs), and younger brother Kunio (Minister of Education, Labor, Legal, and Internal Affairs). Graduated from the Engineering Department of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Tokyo, and completed a doctoral program at the Faculty of Engineering (PhD in Engineering) at Stanford University. In 1986, he participated in the general election for the first time from the former Hokkaido District 4 (now District 9). In 2005, he became the chairman of the Democratic Party. In 2009, he became a representative of the Democratic Party and soon became the 93rd Prime Minister.
Bernard Charnwut CHAN

Convenor of the Non-Official Members of Hong Kong's Executive Council
Bernard Charnwut Chan is a deputy to the National People’s Congress of China, a non-official member of Hong Kong’s Executive Council (2004-09 and from 2012) and (from 2017) the Convenor of the Non-Official Members of the Executive Council. He is also a former member of Hong Kong’s Legislative Council (1998- 2008). A graduate of Pomona College in California, he is the President of Asia Financial Holdings and Chairman of Asia Insurance. He is Chairman of the Hong Kong – Thailand Business Council and an advisor to Bangkok Bank (China) Co. Ltd. He sits on the boards of several local and overseas companies in financial services and is a director of Bumrungrad Hospital Public Company in Thailand. Among Mr. Chan’s public service activities, he is Chairman of the Hong Kong Palace Museum Ltd, Chairman of the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food, Chairman of Tai Kwun Culture & Arts Co. Ltd., Chairperson of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Hong Kong Chronicles Institute and Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors of Our Hong Kong Foundation. His past positions include Council Chair of Lingnan University, Chairman of the Council for Sustainable Development, Chairman of the Antiquities Advisory Board, Chairman of the Advisory Committee on Revitalisation of Historic Buildings and Chairman of the two Standing Committees on Disciplined Services and Judicial Salaries and Conditions of Service. Mr. Bernard Charnwut Chan is also a Trustee Emeritus of Pomona College. He was appointed a Justice of the Peace in 2002, and a Commander (3rd Class) of the Most Noble Order of the Crown of Thailand in 2004. In 2006, he was awarded the Gold Bauhinia Star by the Hong Kong SAR Government, and in 2020 he received Hong Kong’s highest honor, the Grand Bauhinia Medal. He has been conferred honorary degrees from Lingnan University, City University of Hong Kong, the Open University of Hong Kong and Savannah College of Art and Design.

Dr. Xiang Luo has over 20 years of outstanding leadership, rich international experience and local implementation capability as senior positions in the United Nations and international organizations. He is the co-chair of Social Impact Investment & Procurement Foundation (SIIP), a platform for special project fund-raising, impact investing, sustainable procurement, global partnerships and systemic solutions for sustainable development within the framework of the UN Sustainable Development Agenda. Since 2014, he has served as country director of United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS)- China and Coordinator for One Belt and One Road programs, leading the promotion of international cooperation with the Chinese government and countries along the Belt and Road in major sectors (food security, health-care, digital economy), sustainable procurement, impact investment, and other SDG relevant. He is responsible for overall management from strategic planning, fund-raising, project implementation, government and private partnership, capacity building, public advocacy, risk management and performance evaluation. Prior to that, he was responsible for strategic planning, project implementation, and integrating platform of international finance, trade and technology resources in the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and other international economic development agencies, covering dozens of projects in life sciences, health-care, clean energy, advanced manufacturing, IOT and service outsourcing. He led the leading private equity funds and government partnerships to form over 1 billion USD in special industry development funds and 100 million USD in global innovation funds. Mr. Luo holds a PhD on business administration, and has also served as a mentor for youth entrepreneur at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), a core expert for WWF China's Climate Initiative, and a securities trust mentor at the Postdoctoral Station of Southwest University of Finance and Economics. For his outstanding achievements in promoting the "global digital economy", he was awarded the special award of "Top Ten Leaders of China's Smart Economy 2020" by the Economic Daily Group.
