BOOK RELEASE ON FUTURES OF EDUCATION



The new book of Dr. Shirley Yeung provides a good landscape for the key elements of Futures of Education, including interactive and integrative use of corporate social responsibility via her committed and ongoing research and dialogue with stakeholders with multidisciplinary knowledge. The humble observation with practical actions of Dr. Shirley Yeung highlights the importance of a new mindset with innovations transformations, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and UNPRME principles. For example, the model for creative art cultural studies and a review of Sustainability Reports of a selected case corporation.The book of Transformations via SDGs for the Futures of Education highlights the application of observation with active empathy, the humanistic perspective of operating business with a balance of technology, multi-disciplinary knowledge, and values of human behind a disruptive business model with practical innovations and transformations for a better world.

Pavolva), delegate to ECOSOC (Dr. R. Bardy), Geneva, Shue Yan University (Dr. S. Law), Hong Kong, - Presidents from JCI Ocean HK (Mr. R. Choi) and Rotary Club, HK Island East, Hong Kong (Mr. B. Lee), - Winners of United Nations UNOSSC Entrepreneurial Academy, 2020 and 2021, Angola, Kenya, and Zimbabwe, and invited experts from technology areas, for example, Disguise APEC (Mr. C. Caceres and Ms. Z. Sharif) from Spain and Britain, and - Female Russian Artist with palette-knife technique (A. Salenko) together to share ideas on resilience art with 3 models (new normal of productivity, contents creator ID, and futures of virtual skills) put forward by Dr. Shirley Yeung, Convener for Resilience Art Debate, 2021.

Dr Shirley Yeung is Associate Professor/ Head, School of Business/Director, BSSI, Gratia Christian College, which is a UNPRME Advanced Signatory Institute.

In December 2021, Dr Shirley Yeung has been shortlisted for "Women Lead the National Business Award (Achiever, Innovation in Education), 2021. (see more)

Dr Shirley Yeung, IEMA approved Sustainability (CSR) Practitioner, Experienced ISO9000 Principal Auditor, AQIP Assessor, US, HKCAAVQ Subject Specialist and QMS lead auditor of HKQAA, Hong Kong.

Dr. Shirley Yeung was named Pioneer Professor of Sustainability in the AIM2Flourish, the Asia Ambassador, Sustainability Mindset working Group of the UN PRME and the UN Global Compact.

In 2021, officially appointed by UNSDSG-Kenya and INCENECDEV as Asia Ambassador and Brand Ambassador; and nominated as Global Sustainability Professional in 2020.

In 2019, Dr. Yeung obtained The Best Professor in Business Studies, HK Education Leadership Award, Hong Kong.

In 2018, Dr. Yeung awarded "The Outstanding Global Leader with Impacts - Woman Award, 2018", TonggenTongmeng, Beijing, China. In the same year, Dr Yeung was also nominated for Pioneer UNSDGs, UN Global Compact.

In 2017, Dr Yeung was appointed as Associate Vice President (AVP), UNESCO HK Association and served as Secretary General and Chair, CSR and Sustainable Business and Management Divisions, the World Institute of Sustainable Development Planner (WISDP) under UNESCO HK Association, Winner for The 2nd Global Young Leadership Award organised by Yazhou Zhoukan Magazine (亞洲週刊), invited as “Visiting Chair Professor” by ISTEC, France, and awarded SDSC Excellence in Teaching Award, 2015/16, Hang Seng Management College. Recently, Dr Yeung obtained a Distinguished Senior Executive Management Certificate on Innovations from HKMA, HK/ Cambridge University, UK. With on-going publications (around 100 pieces) and global collaborations on United Nation Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs), UNOSSC, and UNPRME, Dr Yeung has been recently invited as a Task Force Member for UNESCAP/ EBAC-ESBN / Banking and Finance, and also act as a member for Collaboration Committee for the civil society consultation for UN Development System review process.

In 2016, Dr Yeung was nominated as UN Local Change Maker and also one of panels of UNPRME Colloquium on Higher Education workshop of 7th PRME Asia Forum in Hong Kong. Dr Yeung was invited by Harvard University, HPAIR to deliver a seminar on "Entrepreneurial Spirit and Sustainable Mindset".

In 2015, Dr. Yeung awarded “Pioneer Professor Certificate” from UN Flourish Prizes, US for guiding a student in writing a story on FujiXerox’s sustainable development achievements; and she was also the convener for the 1st Forum on Sustainable Development in Higher Education co-organized with UNESCO, APEID and the Chair of the 2nd International Conference on Supply Chain for Sustainability, Hong Kong.

In 2014, Dr. Yeung was nominated by Nobel Prize Winner for Wenhui (文暉) Award for Educational Innovation, UNESCO, APEID.




Debate Moderator - Sintamei Musa

Sintamei Musa is a registered Clinical Officer with four years of experience in the medical field, working with Narok County and is currently volunteering with The MAA Trust Foundation, Masai Mara. She is an award winner South - South Entrepreneurship Academy 2020.

Sintamei is passionate about patient and disease prevention through regular examination and screening tests to detect a disease in its early stages. Sintamei is a powerful force in the workplace and uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage her coworkers on disease prevention and patient care. Her hobby is travelling, hiking and photography.



Debate Moderator - Omondi Peter

Peter’s aspiration is to use his enthusiasm and charisma to inspire, motivate and empower the less fortunate young people in Kenya, Africa and the World at large to believe in themselves and work towards the achievements of the Sustainable Development Goals. Peter is the founder of the Global Youth Forum (www.global-youthforum.org) and he has a dream to build a self-sustaining community sports centre to help nurture the talents of the marginalized young people in Kenya and contribute towards building peace, justice and strong institutions in Africa.
